Wellington is a new construction residence in Homewood, Alabama, that reinterprets classic French Revival architecture through a distinctly artful lens. Steep rooflines, lime-washed brick, and limestone detailing establish a timeless exterior, while the interiors unfold as a sequence of layered, composed spaces rather than an open plan.

Inside, architectural form and materiality take center stage. Hand-troweled plaster, reclaimed beams, sculptural stonework, and tailored millwork are treated as elements of art, creating rooms that feel collected, intentional, and quietly dramatic.
